How to Clean Grout with a Power Washer or Steamer
With grout stains outside your home or in your walkways or your patios, one of the easiest and fastest ways to clean out your grout, is with a pressure washer. A pressure washer doesn’t use harsh cleaning chemicals that can damage the surface of your tile and grout. Rather, you just need to use water and a lot of pressure.
The reason a pressure washer is so great is because it is fast and gets the job done. There is no scrubbing involved when you use a pressure washer. Make sure you use a pressure washer with the widest angle to get the job done faster, and without damaging the tile. Make sure that you do not get close to the tile or grout. Knowing how to clean grout is easy when you use a pressure washer.
Worry Free Grout Cleaning
Using a pressure washer works great for cleaning grout that is outside the home. When you clean grout outside the home, hook the hose up to your pressure washer and spray everything off. You don’t even have to use any grout cleaners because a pressure washer does most of the work for you. All you have to do is point and shoot, and the pressure washer will remove most of the discoloration without any problem. If you have oil stains, use bleach (but be careful). Everything else can come out with the pressure washer.
For cleaning grout inside the home, I use a grout steam cleaner and it seems to work great. For more information on indoor grout cleaning, you may want to check out our post, How to Clean Grout With Less Time, Money and Effort .
