How to Find Good Grout Cleaners to Clean Your Tile and Grout
There are many grout cleaners that you can use for your tile. How do you know which one to use? I was recently watching an interesting video on YouTube, that studied eight different tile and grout cleaners. They rated each cleaner individually based on their performance.
There were two cleaners that performed better than all the rest put together. According to this independent review, the two best grout cleaners were Soft Scrub, and a new cleaner called Kaboom. Soft Scrub works best when it has a bit of bleach. Kaboom works well because it has oxidizing bleach. A bit of bleach is a great way to get rid of discoloration.
I have recently tried Kaboom on tile and found that it worked well. You just need to allow the grout cleaner a couple of minutes to soak in and penetrate the tile. You want to allow the cleaner to sit on the floor for about 10 minutes before scrubbing.
When you use Soft Scrub, you can either apply it directly to the grout lines, or directly to the brush. Then you want to scrub it in and allow to sit for a few minutes. After that, scrub it one more time and then rinse it off. It will get rid of most stains.
You can also use a Steam Cleaner or Pressure Washer
For interior grout, you can also use a steam cleaner. A steam grout cleaner is an easy and effective way to get rid of grout stains. It involves some scrubbing, but a lot less than trying to clean it by hand. In addition, you don’t even need to rinse and dry, which also saves you time.
For outdoor tile and grout cleaning, I recommend a pressure washer. Using a pressure washer is the fastest way to do tile and grout cleaning outside your home. You are usually safe as long as you use less than 2,500 PSI.
